Carrie P. Peek, M.D., Ed.M. is a graduate of Harvard University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and her master of education degree. She completed her medical education at New York Medical College. After completing a pediatrics residency and serving as an attending physician in pediatrics, she completed a child neurology residency at Harvard Medical School/Boston Children’s Hospital. In addition, she completed a three-year behavioral neurology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. Currently, she is an attending physician at Boston Children's Hospital in the Department of Neurology.
As a child neurologist specializing in the field of behavioral neurology, she evaluates and cares for children with developmental delays, academic difficulties, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. With her background in general pediatrics, child neurology, behavioral neurology, and education, she brings a unique perspective to the educational management of children with disabilities. Dr. Peek was a Harvard University Zuckerman Fellow in the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard Kennedy School. As a Zuckerman Fellow, she was selected as a medical professional to pursue a public service degree at Harvard Graduate School of Education, and she earned her master of education degree in Mind, Brain, and Education.
