Professional History

I am a pediatric neurologist with interest in epilepsy and EEG. I started my clinical practice through Boston Children's in North Dartmouth in April 2017. I previously practiced for seven years at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, RI, where I cared for children with a wide range of Neurologic issues.

During college and medical school I worked as a daily applied behavior analysis (ABA) worker and personal staff for individuals with autism and epilepsy. This work guided and inspired my career path and decision to work with patients with neurodevelopmental disorders. I obtained my MD in 2003 and followed it with a residency in Pediatrics and two fellowships, the first in Child Neurology and the second in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology. I served as Medical Director for the Bright Minds Institute New England for 5 months before joining the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University as an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics.

Approach to Care
I look forward to participating in clinical care of children with epilepsy and general neurologic concerns in southern Massachusetts and the Cape. Neurodevelopmental disabilities have implications beyond the clinic and hospital setting and I enjoy assisting my patients and families as they integrate into their schools and communities.
