Barrie is trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and other treatment approaches. Barrie has worked as a family crisis counselor in several different settings, including with children, teens and young adults involved in the child welfare, school and juvenile justice systems. Barrie has also informed policy changes at the local, state and federal levels, as both a behavioral health clinician and as an attorney.
