Professional History

I am a graduate of Brown University, with a BA in History and East Asian Studies.  After studying at the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, I came to Boston to train in Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.  As a resident, I trained at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH), where I learned that my professional passion is pediatric radiology.  I was fortunate to be accepted for fellowship at BCH where I have stayed on as a staff member My main mentor is Robert Lebowitz, MD.  Through him, I have focused on practicing and studying genitourinary imaging.  Currently I am the director of Genitourinary Imaging and Fluoroscopy.  My goals are to passionately teach our residents and fellows medical inquiry and respect and compassion for our patients.

Approach to Care
I am a daughter of Chinese immigrants and grew up in a college town and thus enjoy the constant intellectual and international stimuli of our hospital. The best part of my professional day is meeting the incredible families who come to Boston Children’s Hospital. Personally, for relaxation, I enjoy exercising, particularly training for and participating in marathons and triathlons and spending time in nature.
