Dr Moynihan has practiced critical care across different settings including Australasia and the developing world. She undertook pediatric and critical care training in Australia and New Zealand, and after completing a senior fellowship at Boston Children’s, joined as CICU faculty in 2018.
Approach to Care
As Director of Palliative Care in the CICU I am committed to improving end of life care and experiences for patients with heart disease and their families. Creating relationships and connecting with families is a key part of my practice. I am passionate about improving global health outcomes and as an Associate Clinical Director for Simulation I coordinate several simulation training programs.
