Liana Galtieri, PhD (she/her) is a pediatric psychologist. Dr. Galtieri received her doctoral degree in child clinical psychology from University of Washington, where she developed skills treating childhood anxiety and mood disorders using a variety of approaches such as CBT, ACT, parent training, and DBT skills. She completed her doctoral internship specializing in pediatric psychology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia which she gained a breadth of experience treating children coping with various illnesses and injuries. She then completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital within the pain treatment service, further specializing in pediatric pain management. Dr. Galtieri’s clinical interests include supporting children and their families coping with pain, illness, and injury and functional recovery from chronic symptoms. Her research has focused on children’s quality of life and family functioning in context of pediatric chronic illness.
