Professional History
Partnering with patients/families, multidisciplinary teams, and coordinating care as a nurse within the BCH Heart Center early in my nursing career provided the foundational framework for my practice as an NP(APRN). Prior to my role as a NP in the Coronary Artery Program, I spent several years working as an NP in the Perioperative Care Coordination Clinic (PCCC), where I partnered with Anesthesia and surgical services to complete Anesthetic risk evaluations for children with complex medical needs having surgery. I am additionally committed to the mentorship and development of nursing colleagues within the BCH enterprise and Northeastern University Academic community.
Approach to Care
Patients and families travel from all over the world seeking the expertise and innovative care provided across the BCH enterprise. My practice as an NP is holistic in nature, collaborative, and family-centered. It has been a rewarding, albeit humbling, experience to be part of the journey of patients cared for over the years within the Heart Center.
