Professional History

Dr. Michael Lee is currently the Executive Director and Medical Director of the Department of Accountable Care and Clinical Integration. His focus in on alternative payment models in Pediatrics and he leads the Boston Children's Health Accountable Care Organization (BCH ACO) which includes over 130,000 children on MassHealth statewide. He sees patients in Urgent Care in the Children’s Hospital Primary Care Center and teaches in the Clinical Informatics Program. Prior to this role he had a general pediatric practice from 1991-2017 at Dedham Medical Associates and from 2007-2017 was the Senior Director of Clinical Informatics at Atrius Health.

Approach to Care
I enjoyed a 25 year career and general pediatric practice at Dedham Medical Associates (Atrius Health). Currently I see patients on a part-time basis in urgent care at the primary clinic at Boston Children's hospital. I have always enjoyed and valued the importance of primary care in Pediatrics but also the deep connections to specialty care when children need care at the hospital.
