Dr. Hatem completed the orthopedic surgery residency and his first fellowship in hip and Knee reconstruction in Brazil. He advanced his surgical expertise in the United States by completing three fellowships: Musculoskeletal Oncology at the University of Washington in Seattle, Child and Young Adult Hip Preservation Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital; and Hip and Knee Reconstruction Surgery at Northwell Northshore University Hospital in New York. Dr. Hatem has been trained in open hip preservation surgery, hip arthroscopy, and hip replacement, including revision and complex reconstruction.
