Approach to Care
My passion and foundational work as a social worker has been providing clinical services to system-involved youth. As a career youth worker, I am committed to supporting youth workers impacted by secondary trauma and the systemic impact of providing services within oppressive structures. I provide regular trainings that support community learning to promote internal healing and sustainability for frontline youth workers exposed to vicarious trauma. I have a passion for working from a holistic approach when providing counseling and accompanying clients in their journey to integrate mind, body, spirit & community. As a clinician, I believes in the symbiotic nature of clinical work in that everyone in the room is learning and growing together.
