I have been working with deaf and hard of hearing children and their families for more than 20 years. I believe in always advocating for my patients and supporting the family any way that I can. It is also important to me that my patients and their families have full access to communication—in any language that they use. When evaluating language and communication, a child is more than a score on paper. I value looking at the whole child and working with the child, family and community partners together.
