Professional History

Dr. Saleeb completed her medical school at New York University and her pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital of New York. She subsequently completed her cardiology fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital, including a fourth year of training as Senior Non-Invasive Fellow and Fellow in Outpatient. Dr. Saleeb is currently a member of the Outpatient Department of Cardiology at Boston Children's Hospital, evaluating patients in our local and satellite clinics throughout the region. Additionally, she performs fetal echocardiography and cares for cardiac patients admitted to the Inpatient Ward. Her research interests focus primarily on coarctation of the aorta, prosthetic valve replacement, and chest pain. She is also involved in Outpatient quality improvement projects and manages the Outpatient Cardiology Fellowship experience.

Approach to Care
My entrance into medicine stemmed from personal loss and my own experience as a young patient. Having been on the other side of the room, and now, having children of my own, help me understand the perspective of concerned families. Needing a visit with a Pediatric Cardiologist is anxiety-provoking; my goal is for every patient and parent to leave relieved, no matter the circumstance.
