Approach to Care
The decision to pursue a career in Pediatrics was an obvious one, as my life has always revolved around kids- from babysitting during high school, to volunteer coaching my former wrestling team, and becoming a full time tutor prior to beginning medical school. It has been such a privilege to be able to care for children. What I enjoy about Pediatric Emergency Medicine is being someone that parents trust to care for their sick or injured children in a scary/stressful time in their lives, forming brief but meaningful relationships with them, communicating well with and teaching parents/patients, and doing my best to deliver evidence based quality care.
