Professional History
Dr. Philip T. Levy, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and a Physician in Medicine in the Division of Newborn Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. He completed medical school at Sackler School of Medicine/Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel. He received his pediatrics training at Albert Einstein and New York College of Medicine, and his neonatology fellowship at Saint Louis Children's Hospital / Wahsington University School of Medicine.
Dr. Philip Levy's professional activities span the realm of clinical service, research and teaching, all devoted to discovering, implementing and teaching evidence-based clinical care of seriously ill newborns. Dr. Levy’s research focuses on neonatal cardiovascular physiology, pulmonary hypertension, and patent ductus arteriosus. He is an active clinician-scientist whose work bridges translational investigation and evidence-based neonatal care.
Approach to Care
Our philosophy of care is to unite compassionate bedside practice with innovative research that advances newborn health.
We work to ensure that discoveries in the lab translate into meaningful improvements for infants and their families.
Collaboration—with families, colleagues, and trainees—is central to creating lasting impact in neonatal medicine. Above all,We are committed to integrity, innovation, and improving outcomes for the most vulnerable children.
