The Augmentative Communication Program at Boston Children's Hospital offers a variety of specialized graduate internship opportunities for outstanding graduate students in speech-language pathology interested in augmentative and alternative communication.
All students are required to complete a six-month rotation of two to three full days per week on a Jan. 1-to-June 30 or July 1-to-Dec. 31 cycle. The Augmentative Communication Program has established affiliations with the Boston-based graduate training programs, although special arrangements may be made for students from other training facilities.
Additional opportunities for internships are available for occupational therapists interested in assistive technology.
