GI Social Workers

GI social workers help children, teens, and families build their strength and ability to cope with their GI conditions — including VEOIBD. By understanding patient and family concerns, GI social work professionals work specifically alongside families who are seeking treatment for GI conditions, and work to develop options and plans that meet a child’s health, developmental, and emotional needs. Our team has several qualified GI social workers who you may receive treatment from during your visit to Boston Children’s.
